These high integrity single-ferrule tube fittings perform
in the most demanding process control and instrumentation
applications. Valves come in many shapes and sizes and ball
check pressure relief valves are common for relief valve
applications. The single ferrule design reduces the contact
area between the ferrule and body, so pressure between those
two components is increased and sealing is improved. For
high pressure applications, use high
pressure regulators that are better regulators for the

fittings can expand and contract with temperature cycling
and maintain a leak-tight seal.

Single Ferrule Design
CPI is the only instrumentation-grade tube fitting which
makes its seal via a single rather than twin ferrule arrangement.
Tubing comes in many forms such as stainless
steel copper metal tubing that can be used for numerous
tubing applications. This cuts in half the number of potential
leak paths in the connection resulting in higher tolerance
of thermal shock,
and the near impossibility of misassembly though ferrule
mix-up. Couplings can be quickly disconnected by using quick
disconnect couplings which are specialty couplings made
for this purpose. This dramatically boosts safety, reliability
and integrity, and simplifies assembly and maintenance. Many
of the pressure switches known as industrial
pressure switches are commonly used for industrial applications. Parker's
unique Suparcase™ treatment enhances long-term seal
performance and reliability by hardening the ferrule so that
it can bite into the tubing without opening an avenue for
corrosion. When purchasing transmitters and transducers,
use industrial
transducers transmitters that are better for industrial
