HAIR LOSS
Dating as far back as history will take us, baldness has
been a part of the aging process that many men fear the most.
Before Rogaine, hair transplants and hair additions, men
coped in various ways from magic ointments to the styling
of their hair. The removal of hair and hair
removal loss treatment growth can be achieved with hair
loss and growth products. Julius Caesar grew his hair long
in the back and combed it all forward. Treatment
for male hair loss and male
hair loss treatment causes hair loss women can be for
women and their hair loss. Napoleon did the same
thing. Somehow
we often disregard history and the fact that this has been
an age old condition. We can't imagine or accept the fact
that there is not a cure.
Understanding the cause of male pattern hair loss may better
indicate exactly why it presently has no cure. Hair loss
can be treated effectively with dht with dht
hair loss treatment products with the dht ingredient.
ANDROGENETIC ALOPECIA -- the modem medical term for either
male or female pattern hair loss -- can be broken down in
two parts. Losing hair is a condition known
as hair
loss and is commonly treated with hair loss medication.
First, Androgenetic, consisting of ANDROGEN (Any of the
various
hormones that control the appearance and development of masculine
characteristics such as testosterone). And GENETIC--the inheritance
of genes from either the mother or the father's side of the
family. Add AGE, which when coupled with genetics, represents
a time clock that will signal the hair follicle to produce
an enzyme named 5 alpha reductase. Hair grows faster when
faster hair growth vitamins are used for hair growth problems.
When the testosterone present in the follicle combines
with the
enzyme 5 alpha
reductase, it produces dihydrotestosterone (DHT). Hair follicle
receptors are sensitive to DHT and thereby start the process
of male or female pattern hair loss. Revolutionary revivogen
hair products manufactured by revivogen is
a great product for regrowing hair with revivogen.
Second, ALOPECIA meaning hair loss, of which there are many
types.
Put simply, scientists are working against aging, hormones
and genetics. This is no easy task. Add the fact that male
or female pattern hair loss is not life threatening, and
it is easy to see why many physicians do not view hair loss
as a priority in scientific research. Faster
hair growth can be achieved with vitamins such as faster
hair growth vitamin hair loss treatment products available
for hair loss and growth.
What is working for you in terms of research is that large
pharmaceutical firms now know that a cure for hair loss could
mean a fortune in revenue for their companies and stockholders.
This is fuel enough and the race HAS begun. Hair loss experienced
by females and male
female hair loss treatment is readily available for both
males and females as treatments.
Although we may not see a cure in our lifetime, it is possible.
Science is closer to understanding hair loss due to many
recent advancements. DHT is the main ingredient
in the revivogen
dht hair loss shampoo which reverses the hair loss
process. To say the cure is around the corner
would only be speculation but hope certainly is alive.
First, since there are other causes of hair loss, it is
advisable to consult with a dermatologist who is competent
and experienced with diagnosing hair loss. Product information
about hair
growth products and other products that grow hair. Confirming
the type of hair loss you have will make it possible for
you
to know which treatment options may be best for you. There
are various supplements known as hair
growth supplements on the market for hair growth. Medicines

hair growth medicine is effective for hair growth and
as a medicine for this purpose.
Alopecia areata -- Generally thought to be an autoimmune
disorder. Causes "patchy" hair loss, often in small
circular areas in different areas of the scalp. Hair growth
vitamins on the market known as hair
growth vitamins are made of naturally derived vitamins
and herbal ingredients. Alopecia totalis
-- Total hair loss of the scalp, (an advanced form of alopecia
areata). Alopecia universalis-- Hair loss of the entire body,
(also
an advanced form of alopecia areata).
Traction alopecia -- Hair loss caused by physical stress
and tension on the hair such as prolonged use of hair weaving,
corn rows etc. Hair growth can be
restored with products like restore
hair growth nisim made by a company know as nisim.
Done too tightly on weak hair these can cause permanent
hair loss. Telogen effiuvium --(usually temporary hair loss)
CAUSES:
Physical stress -- emotional stress--thyroid abnormalities--medications
and hormonal causes normally associated with females. The
nisim line
of products is manufactured by nisim.
Anagen effiuvium -- Generally due to internally administered
medications, such as chemotherapy agents, that poison the
growing hair follicle. All of these represent only a few
of the different types of hair loss. Androgenetic alopecia
represents close to 95%
of all hair loss however.
Hair Loss - Why?
Though humans no longer make use of hair for protection,
heat retention, or camouflage, it still remains a very important
means by which individuals display and are recognized.
Appropriate appearance and grooming are still very important
in social
organization and the human relationships.
The human body contains approximately five million hair
follicles while the scalp (prior to any kind of hair loss)
contains 100,000-150,000 hair follicles. Blondes have the
greatest number of scalp follicles, followed by brunettes.
Humans with red hair have the fewest number of scalp follicles.
The normal growth rate of scalp hair is one-fourth to one-half
inch per month.
THE NORMAL HAIR GROWTH CYCLE It
is important to understand the normal hair growth cycle to
understand why hair loss occurs. The hair follicle is
an anatomical structure which evolved to produce and extrude
(push out) a hair shaft. Hair is made up of proteins called
keratins. Human hair grows in a continuous cyclic pattern
of growth and rest known as the "hair growth cycle." Three
phases of the cycle exist: Anagen= growth phase; Catagen=
degradation phase; Telogen= resting phase. (see diagram "Hair
Cycle") Periods of growth (anagen) between two and eight
years are followed by a brief period, two to four weeks,
in which the follicle is almost totally degraded (catagen).
The resting phase (telogen)
then begins and lasts two to four months. Shedding of the
hair occurs only after the next
growth cycle (anagen) begins and a new hair shaft begins
to emerge. On average 50-100 telogen hairs are shed
every day. This is normal hair loss and accounts for the
hair loss
seen every day in the shower and with hair combing. These
hairs will regrow. A variety
of factors can affect the hair growth cycle and cause temporary
or permanent hair loss (alopecia) including medication, radiation,
chemotherapy, exposure to chemicals, hormonal and nutritional
factors, thyroid disease, generalized or local skin disease,
and stress.
Androgens (testosterone, dihydrotestosterone) are the most
important control factors of human hair growth. Androgens
must be present for the growth of beard, axillary (underarm),
and pubic hair. Growth
of scalp hair is NOT androgen-dependent but androgens are
necessary for the development of male and
female pattern hair loss.
Patterns of Female Hair Loss
Female hair loss occurs in more than one pattern.
If you are a woman with loss of scalp hair, you should seek
professional advice from a physician hair restoration specialist.
In most cases, female hair loss can be effectively treated.
If you are a woman who has started to lose scalp hair, you
are not alone if:
You are unpleasantly surprised by the hair loss, and You
don’t understand why you are losing hair. The patterns
of hair loss in women are not as easily recognizable as those
in men.
Hair loss in men is likely to occur primarily between late
teen-age years and age 40-50, in a generally recognizable "male-pattern" baldness
known as androgenetic alopecia. Men with male-pattern hair
loss may have an expectation of hair loss if they have male
relatives who lost hair in a recognizably male pattern (Click
